I should have done the same thing, but we were in a lull in business at the time. I figured as long as they paid my fees I could put up with the inconvenience. I'm now considering telling them to find someone else to do their work. Although I should add that since I left my previous post, I've been working with them to get my fees paid. So far they've been cooperative, but we'll see.
