About a 1/3 of my orders come with title search request for no copies. If the examiners you use don't provide enough information on their "run sheets" maybe a more thorough title examiner may be in order. Our title search reports are not "run sheets'' but a title search report. Our reports disclose all applicable documents, including easements and restrictions and oil and gas leases,  that do or may affect the subject property for the time period of that specific title search.

 As for a set price for copies, for the 6 counties my office services in Central Ohio, there are different copy fees for each of the county recorder's office and a different set of fees for civil and domestic clerk of court copies. We have never told any client to get their own copies, but we will only provide them if they request them.
