Has anyone thought of inviting some of the larger
title companies to the conference to acquaint them
with the benefits of having the association membership
perform their abstracting? Has anyone tested the
waters to see if they are even interested in some form
of quality control of abstracting through the
association ,or if they will continue to go for the
lowest dollar rate available through non-member
abstractors?

I am also somewhat concerned about talk of "banding
together" for purposes of pricing. After twenty years
of practicing law I have found that there are some
serious penalties for violating anti-trust/restraint
of trade laws.Is there to be a forum at the conference
to explore these matters
