I've been watching this thread with interest because we've companies/attornies attempting to build their own databases here in Georgia. In return many of the courthouses have posted notices forbidding any kind of outside scanning/copying devices in the courthouse. Primarily because it competes with the database althought incomplete that the state is selling. Walt, may be right, you may have to fight fire with fire. We actually been contacted by a couple of different companies about some sort of partnering where we gather information. But, it would have been too costly for us to try and continually keep it updated from all the counties in Georgia. Now, what I needed, ws those .79 cent discs. I do think we will all need to think creatively as the information becomes easier to get.
