Congrats on getting paid. It worked for you. However, from a legal stand point, I would not encourage this type of collection attempt. There is no fine line between your civil efforts to get paid and the [potentially] criminal trespass issues. If your client called the police, you could be charged with trespassing. The "civil" fact that they owed you money is no defense. I have had tremendous success with a very simple, costless, and legal approach. Tell your client that if you are not paid, you will relate your experience to the local BBB, and post your experience on every website, message board, forum, chat room room, etc. involved with the title and settlement industry.
