Jay you are right about the no written agreement. My fiance who is the Bill collector in my company, placed a visit to this company. The company co-manager stated per our conversation on 4/5/2004 that they will pay the invoice. Now, they are given my Fiance the running around, so he is there as we speak until they pay him.
They are threating him in trespassing, but he is not trespassing, we are just going over the phone conversation from the title company co-manager on 4/5/2004.
Now Title Company. Is not that hard to start up. You just need to know your basic title commitments, final title policy, title examination, and closings. Ofcourse, it helps to have a steady clientele.
You get paid at the day of closing, which you are funding the checks.
So theres no waiting. The most waiting is the Refi's which is 3 day recession.
So, I encourage anyone to think about opening a title company.
