Well said, Cleofi. Although I am one of the original people to suggest a "conference" (with acknowledgement to Jan, my Tar Heel fan in NC...btw UCONN 83, GT 76) and the person who suggested to Jay the first weekend in June (after reading Slade's concerns), I am one of those people who has sat on the side and watched as this thing has developed. I have clients who monitor this site and some are shaking their heads at our behavior. But, these are growing pains. We all want this to work and much of what we argue about will be discussed in Ohio. It's good that some of this debate has gotten so intense. It shows that people care. In any process like this, there will be people who take the lead. That's fine. If we did not have an idea of what to discuss in Columbus, the weekend would turn into a week, a month, or more. Nothing will be set in stone unless the majority agree anyway. When Jay returns, let him post a rough agenda and we can all add to it. These are things to be discussed, not the way things will be. Like Doug implies, Rome was not built in a day.
