I am sorry, but I don't understand exactly what is wrong. I think I have an idea, though.
First I would like to say, being that I have dial up and not dsl, it is difficult to read EVERY message. I have been a member of SOT since it was a baby and have tried to read everything, but don't always make it.
Second, I think (correct me if I am wrong) there a some members feeling "left out" of the loop as far as the Abstractor Conference. It started as a feel good, lets all go for it, exciting effort to improve all of are lives and kind of turned into a (for lack of better words) "secret society" of the select few.
I don't know how or when this happened, it just took on a life of its own. I share some of the same concerns as the others. I wanted to be a part of it too, but can't make the date of the conference work. I didn't see much in the way of "we need a licensing research committee - any volunteers" or something like that.
With all the private e-mailing being suggested how are we who are now not a part of it supposed to figure out how to help. I see posts regarding how to get there, hotels, etc, but not the meat of it.
I must have missed the boy/girl posts, because I don't understand that.
We seem like a very bright, ambitious bunch of business people and I would like to see us all be able to put that energy into this project and not turn it into one group vs another. How can we all stick together? Do we even have common goals?? What are "our" goals?? Is there a list??
Just my 2 cents.
