Thanks Doug... you were a terrific local host. I think all of the 50+ attendees had a great time. I also made many new friends. Although the conference was only a few days, it feels like we have been together so much longer. It was almost hard to say good-bye to everyone. I was encouraged that so many people didn't want to wait a whole year to do it again - there were many suggestions for a winter conference to a warmer climate. :-)

I was amazed at the spirit of co-operation among all of the people there. Some folks had to leave Saturday night, but everyone that was there on Sunday morning volunteered for an office or committee position. EVERYONE was so excited to participate that I am more encouraged than ever about the positive things that NALTEA will accomplish.

Thanks to all of you who came, and those who could not make it, we will get more information out really soon so you can get involved too. I haven't forgotten about all of you who sent emails offering to serve on a committe... you will be serving with some pretty terrific people.

I will really be looking forward to the winter conference... the Program/Event Committee will be busy I'm sure. :-)
