I rec'd the same fax from Infinity. I have been doing work for them for over a year. Some months, you get a whole lot of orders & others you get a few. I am still receiving orders from them under their same letterhead. It seems to me that Infinity was trying to find their own niche in this very competitive business. Regardless, they have been a good company; they paid a very fair price for services rendered. I also do work for First American. I see here, that there are many branches of First American. I have nothing bad to say about the First American I do work for. To me, they are are a very good company. They have always paid me for my work as does Infinity. The people at First American have always been great. I do wonder how a merger will affect me, as the two companies pay differently but only time will tell. As abstractors, things change, companies merge-some go out of business. You can't do this line of work w/out some risk & really can't depend on any one company. Hopefully, it will all work out.
