Scott, you'll appreciate this one, since you teach the little ones. When my son was 3 or 4, our pastor explained the history of the Easter egg in relation to the Resurrection. Christians would greet each other with an egg and say "Christ is risen!" and the recipient would say "Christ is risen, indeed!" So he gave this illustration over and over and then gave each child and egg and said, "Now then, what do you say?"

Nobody said a word til Jess looked out at me and I nodded encouragingly, and he shouted, "THANK YOU, SIR!"

The whole church lost it. Hey...he remembered, right??
