I thought a few words of caution would be in order here, both for you and for those well-intentioned SOT members who have offered you their help.

First of all, you don't state whether this particular transaction is a refinance or a purchase. Since it is diTech.com, I'm guessing it's the latter. There are different regulations governing these two types of transactions.

With regard to the people who responded, please be VERY careful about answering such questions. In some states, offering such assistance may be construed as giving legal advice. It can get very sticky in a situation where all the facts are not known.

Guys, please understand, I'm not trying to be a smart-alec; just my nature to look out for my fellow SOT members.

But, that's just me.
