The settlement agent gets the money (payoff of old mortgage, title money, taxes... and any extra money) on the 4th business day. DiTech probably didn't use an attorney but a signing company. The HUD statement would show how much money she should get and might show who was the settlement agent. If you can get a HUD and need a hand, I'll give you my fax #.
