Hey Monica, I can understand your disappointment, but I don't see real damage to your quest. So a surveyor has some copies before everything is archived and preserved for the public. As I understand it, this archiving is your primary concern. I think my main worry would be any damage done by the handling and copying of the documents. I would think the office that has these documents should keep them away from the public until they have been properly cared for. Persevere with your quest and I think you will be satified in the end. Still, it sounds like the guy was a jerk with no respect for what you found. Take care, Doug
