Thanks, Jay. I just wanted to add that when we set-up a new client in our system, we require them to sign a New Account Application/Client Services Agreement before we will process any orders. It includes, among other things, a paragraph about Terms of Acceptance, so that if an issue ever arises, we are on firm legal ground regarding our understanding of fees, etc.

Although most companies we deal with do pay what is owed and on time, there are others who will string you out as long as you let them. Having a signed agreement in place helps to notify them in advance that delinquencies will not be tolerated.
