I actually hold a paralegal certificate with a specializtion in real estate law and have been conducting court records research for 12 years now, so I'm very confident of my level of knowledge.

Additionally, I have conducted (and currently do conduct) research in six states, although my home state is my "specialty", so to speak.

To be honest, I've heard several title searchers say they only get $60 for a current owner search and that just seems like a VERY small fee -- almost not worth the time involved. BUT, that's just from an outsider looking in and I mean no disrespect.

I guess I was just hoping to find out if that fee is generally accepted, or if I'm misunderstanding the reasonable going rate for a search.

Thanks.
