Hi, Teresa!

I can understand why people want to exaggerate...none of us likes to admit things aren't going as well as we'd like. I guess it's just a matter of pride, or our competitive natures, perhaps.

Anyway, I've seen our volume fall off over the past three weeks to a month, but we're still doing okay. I don't mean to give you the impression that I'm lighting my cigars with $20 bills or anything, but we're not hurting, either.

I run a small 3-person firm here in SW Penna., and we cover thirteen counties, so there's at least enough work out there for us to keep the rent paid and the lights on. Mostly small stuff like Current Owners, Doc Retrievals, etc. The full titles I get are mostly from my long-time local customers, and aren't usually the ugly ones.

You didn't say in your post where you search. Are you close to PA?

Well, I hope this helps you, Teresa. I'm actually thinking that this is the "calm before the storm", so enjoy the slow period while you can. Pretty soon, you'll be too busy to grab your head with both hands!

Regards,
Scott Perry
