I'm not sure what you mean by a self insured fund. Do you mean that the association purchase the E & O policy that several abstractors work under or that the association builds up enough funds to provide its own insurance policy, like a million dollars sitting in a money marker account.

Which ever it is, you have been doing some thinking.

Why don't you join us in Ohio for the conference and bring your ideas with you. The association can benefit from people like you. The benefit committee can look and explore both of your ideas. You probably have a couple more, am I right? Jay
