Robert,
I would also like to add the following.
As a Active Association, we can also educate others in the title industry and get involve the government process. We all have to remember if we do not represent themselves and add a voice to the concerns that effects us as a group, trade and as individuals.
Others will be making the choices as they have been doing all the long!
What better people to voice concerns, issues then the indidividuals in the trenches every day and out. If we want to obtain respect and be listen to rather than ignore, we all better band together and become a wel repected organization that is look upon for guidance and direction.
We all also have to remember that any new organization is going to be a struggle at first and to overcome change, but to have changes. The organization is only as good as the ideas, people, and most of commitment put forward. We as group a must remember what we do today as craft can and could profound effects on how our craft is done tomorrow.
This is a great oportunity for all of us to get in on the ground floor to be able to make positives in roads ahead not just for the independents, veterans, but also to employees of companies. The whole basis should focus on how to provide quality service, respect, educate the public, industry and others, ethics, network and sense of belonging. Lastly, we all should do what we can to make sure our voices are heard and that our craft is a skilled craft that serves a very important role in our society!
Just my two-bits worth!
