Kurt.....
I will tell you why I like local companies. First of all, let's cut right to the chase, the money. I have 40 title companies/attorneys that I do title work for. I have 3 closings today (Saturday). Each of them for local title companies. They pay $150 for each closing plus I charge them 25 bucks for email docs.
Not bad.
Nationwide companies such as GAC and ATM only offer $75 max on their closings in my area. NO WAY. I told them I won't get out of bed for less then $100. Local title companies pay me at least $75 for a current owner search. These title companies are owned by the attorneys in this area; therefore, I get the business all the way around. GAC and ATM or Transcontinental pay $35-$40 each current owner and that includes copies. I still do them because that is money.
Local title companies/attorneys know me, know where I live, and some even visit and dine with me often, I have a made a friendship; therefore, I am guaranteed the business. And my turnaround time stays 24 hours.
You are a company that employs in house abstractors and you are soliciting business on the Source of Title which is mainly independents. I have enjoyed the friendships that I have made from this site so why don't you hang around and wait for a couple of opinions/private emails that I have heard about you and your company.
