The message board is really meant to be for title abstractors and their clients, though others may certainly post if they wish to participate in the discussion. When Robert founded this site, he had noticed as a title abstractor himself that there were well-established forums for appraisers, notaries, and other segments of the title/mortgage industry, but there was no forum for title abstractors. Our message board was meant specifically to fill that void.

There's already at least one very well-used message board for notaries that I know of (at http://members.boardhost.com/gomobilenotary/), so there isn't really a need for another forum for notaries in our eyes.

Our business directory is a different story. We believe that notaries and other title industry professionals can benefit greatly from registering in our directory, simply because many of the same clients that user our directory every day to find abstractors also have need for signing agents and other types of professionals.
