I am a "mom and pop" company and do more than half of my business with National companies. I have had both
good experiences, and bad. By reading the posts for the last few months, I am not the only one who has also experienced the "bad". Maybe because we ARE
mom and pop companies, they feel they can put us off
on payment at times because we do not have a large
percentage of their business, and they don't need us
as badly as they do a large search company that sevices a larger area for them, and can handle more volume simply because they have employees. Stroke them all you want, but its still the bottom line, and
if another large company is in your area, and decides
they want to take this business from you, they will.
It's happended to me many times over the years. I don't hate wal-mart, but I still would rather have
quality over quantity. I strive to do my best for all my customers, whether they are local or national. I treat them all the same. I just wish this favor would
be returned by the ones who tend to take advantage.
(sorry for the run-on sentences!)
