I've found nothing wrong with working with national companies. Over 70% of my business is from national title and retrieval companies.
You may not always develope the personal relationship you have with a local company, since they work with hundreds of abstractors, but usually they have one person assigned to a state to deal with the orders and abstractors. I have lunch with the local sales rep of one of my national companies when he is in town.
Some may say that national companies don't pay their bills. I disagree. I've had the same percentage of local companies not pay as national, which thankfully has been small.
Over 98% of companies, whether small or large, are good companies and are great to work for. Don't let the less than 2% bad apples discourage on working for the good guys. Good luck!!! Jay
