I would LOVE to see a fax machine in the Maryland counties that I do. There is a phone, no long distance calls of course. One county here put in a pay phone for our use and that is not even in land records, it is in the hall.
There is no way the Clerk of Court would do that for us, they are too tight.
Maybe I will complain and beg for a fax machine but then I would not get to use it, the abstractors here are so
ignorant, one may move the machine near "her piece of the counter" that she has all of  her stuff on along with pictures of her family and greeting cards, I probably would not be "allowed" to use it.
Does anyone have any of those arrogant abstractors that have claimed a piece of land records where she has her own "desk" in a public building? They even have the nerve (there are about 4 of them) that will ask you to move because you are in their "spot". I have had just about enough of this.
