No Shannon, we started the mobile notary business when I could not find another job after I had been laid off 2 times in one year...  just before Dave was laid off for the 3rd time in two years. I started the data abstracting last year. We are "Silicon Valley" statistics. 
 
My field is marketing and advertising, I worked for small newpapers and magazines... most of which no longer exist. David is a buyer (IBM, Applied Materials twice) He was one of 3,000 people laid off on the same day with Applied Materials. When it became apparent that we were not going to find jobs we had to sell our home and we relocated here... just passed our first anniversary in Sacramento county. We are actually lucky, we know people who lost their homes.
