I don't like the idea of asking clients to send recommendation letters.  But giving references would be fine.  I think continuing education would be great but don't how it would work out for different states.  I ha ve taken land title courses required by a previous employer (it was ALTA)& it was strange because it was not based on the GA land lot/district or GMD system but more on the system of townships, squares, etc.  found in other states.  I would surely be happy to be updated w/new rulings, changes in the law etc.
