OK Now people, my message was viewed almost 50 times but no one has responded. Do you all think certification is a bad idea or you just want to leave it up to every one else. If no input comes from you all who read these postings then once we get a certification in place, don't complain about it. And I am not trying to sound rude when I say that. We really want to know your opinions and want every one to contrubute, even if you aren't a member of the orginazation. Please people, this is a really important step we must take. And it will benefit us all. Just imagine one day in the near future, an underwriter is typing a binder and askes, "Was this search done by a certified Examiner? No, Well then get it re-done by someone who is certified. There is too much liability in using non-certified abstractors" Now doesn't that sound great!???
