Who came after you? The bank?  The Company? I am confused. I don't think that those lawyers are telling you the truth, or the laws are different down here in Florida. Why bother to incorporate if your personal assets are not protected. We are also investors and list each one of our investment properties in different LLC's or S Corps to protect our assets. I would ask again. If the company wrote you a bad check and you are paying it off..........that is just wrong! Check with an attorney..........different ones.
