I agree with Robert on this one.  Learning abstracting from a course or a book is one thing, then there is the real world.  Book knowledge will only take you so far.  Real world learning can only be done by working for a title company or attorney that can give you that one-on-one time that you really need to learn real estate abstracting and avoid the pitfalls that so many run into.
