It really isn't as difficult to maintain a 6-8 hour turn time as it seems if your clients tracking system is properly set up. Many of you are probably doing it already. It doesn't mean each order must be returned within 6-8 hours. They are looking at averages.
The problem has never really been the speed of the search but the speed at which it is received and returned. At Davick Services we have overcome the problem with "mobile office systems". These systems allow us to receive our orders by fax or email while in the field. The orders are processed and faxed or emailed to our clients imediately upon completion, sometimes in less than an hour. We don't need the fax machines or phone lines of the county and our clients aren't waiting for us to return to the office.
