Slade question on New site layout - Shannon Blatt/VA

Slade, it looks great.  My only issue is, and maybe it is my computer, is that the message forum seems to be in a narrow 4-5 inch wide colum in the middle of the screen.  Can it be widened to use more of the screen width, or is it me?
