the only problem I see with that is that some states don't require testing to receive a state license. Fill out the form, send in your $$$, your licensed.

Yes, the NALTEA certification is a work in progress, but it is NOT required to be a member of NALTEA.

That is where the marketing could be pushed, i.e. "These are abstractors that belong to NALTEA, they support improvement in the industry by improving ourselves..." A list of NALTEA members could be sent to potential clients with their contact information and coverage area, (possibly fee sheets) then it would be up to the client to pick those NALTEA members they would like to use. That way a company that bought (or could afford to buy) a larger share of the market could not shut out other potential members.
