At the risk of sounding ignorant, please tell me how someone in India or any other foriegn country can run a title on a piece of property in the US?
I don't know about other states, but the in the counties I serve in Georgia, the only way to do the job is to go to the record rooms and dig! Even the one or two counties that are on line only go back to the seventies. If you are doing a 50 or 60 year search, it still requires that you go physically to the county record room. And the liens, judgements and civil files can only be checked in person.
