Victoria Ring owns 50statenotary.com. She has a new book out on how to become a notary and different ways to market etc. In this book she mentions that another way to subsidize your income is title searching and that you can take online courses. I wrote her several months ago telling her how poor the online courses are. She said she would not recommend them any longer. She does have a following of people and I have a feeling that most of the inquiries on SOT about how to become an abstractor come from people who have read her book.
