If you call Hi-Tech and getting onboard doing online searches many of us do not want to do that Kurt.  It is a compromise of the field and searches cannot be properly formed with the "hi-tech" as it stands - if for some reason 50 years from now they can find a way to put things online the same as they do at the courthouse and at the same rate of speed - then so be it - it is just not there yet.  You would have to have the same system that is provided for the courthouses to be efficient and proficient in searching.  It is also going to have to find some way of making sure all records are pulled in over the internet over 1,000 of miles.  Give yourself a test - run the same name 2x on an online search and c what you get - alot of times not anywhere near the same results - now that is a problem.
