If anyone here really wants to put an end to outsourcing and widespread dispersal of our public records. I think this is the key. The average citizen may not be too concerned about anything except how it affects them. The security and privacy of the American people is at stake and well intentioned politicians are putting us all at risk.

Some legislators must be concerned about the security issue of internet access. Why else would they pass laws to protect themselves. At least in Texas anyway, police and politicians are allowed to have their tax and appraisal records witheld from public view.
