My intention was not to imply any kind of dishonesty, but to bring about the question in hopes we would gain some clarity.  I have been in this industry for 15 years.  I have served in the capacity of independent abstractor, staff abstractor, title agent, business owner, nationwide vendor manager and so on.  I do not know everything.  You simply cannot in this business.  My point was that the questions I posed were never asked by anyone and trust in this business should never be taken for granted.
