As an abstractor, I would like to see a website of this nature. And, I am not afraid of the same scrutiny. As on SOT, there is a place to rate us and just because a company is not listed with SOT shouldn't mean that they are not privey to the ratings. I strive to give fast, accurate, complete information to be able to stay in business. Title companies should do the same regarding payment. They want a fast turn around time then want us to wait 6 weeks for our money. I can handle that but what I can't handle is when they ignore making payment and I have to bill, call and threaten. It's not worth getting a lawyer for a $1000 bill but if there were some way to make their slow-pay available to others that they might do the same thing to....I think it's a great idea. It's just abstractors helping abstractors.
