I have seen such lists  and I agree with Roberts first reply. I have also seen people no longer getting work as the result of this type of list, directory... what ever. In my "humble" (don't laugh Jay) opinion it makes for a no win situation. These companies... good and bad are professionals and it is obvious that they have people watching these forums. We all have had problems with different companies and as Robert pointed out some very same companies! We as professionals have choices, my choice when I do not get paid in a timely manner is to refuse to do anymore work for that company. My options are to report them to the Better Business Bureau, a collection agency, my lawyer... you get the picture. If the situation were reversed and the companies had a forum to complain... if they posted my name I would retaliate in some manner. I would be offended and feel that I was dealing with some very unprofessional people.
