 I have read all the responses to my suggestion.  Clearly,  as online searches grow, we must diversify our companies and take our company to the next level.   It is not a matter of control, but a matter of quality service to our clients.

I personally do not like the idea of referring my clients to other abstractors - I would much rather work with another abstractor on my client's behalf.
My point is - If my client needs a search done in a county 200 miles from me, I can still take the order if I have a reciprocating abstractor I work with.  Let's say I get  $ 100 for the search, normally.  I may have an arrangement of  75-25% for  my reciprocating abstractors.  They make $ 75 for doing the search, I make $ 25.  They send all the search information to me, I fill in my own paperwork and send it to my client.  I pay my reciprocating abstractor and I make something from the search too.  
My client is happy because I provided a service to them they needed.  My abstractor friend made money plus I made something.  As the old saying goes, " A half a loaf is better than none."  As online searches grow, we need to stay on the cutting edge.
