I am in the same boat as you Ellen.There are a few counties in            Louisiana that have done away with the books and only offer            computer  records. There are also a few that have some of there          records in the books (up to a certain year,) while the rest is on the computer.While it is scary to think of all the mistakes that can be made inputting data, we are FORCED to work with what we've got.
