At  least half of the companies that we did loan signings for emailed their docs to us to be downloaded. I had an incident awhile back where we accepted the job, they sent the docs and then cancelled. They had me go on to their website with a password they provided to retrieve their docs. There were dozens of docs on this site to be downloaded. I could have had personal info on all those people. A week later they sent another order... same password. I know they use hundreds of notaries all over the country who have access to their website. I am positive those borrowers have no idea how their personal info is being handled.
