I just spent 4 hours on the phone with B.J. Ostergren aka The Virginia Watchdog  http://www.opcva.com/watchdog/ mentioned in the article. Among other things she told me was that of the 20 counties originally online in Virginia there are only 12 remaining.

She expressed the outrage that people feel when they learn there own sensitive information is being put online for distribution. She has done a lot of work in this area of exposing the security risks of online real property records. She has located the social security numbers online of Jeb Bush, and Porter Goss (the new CIA chief). She took me to the documents and I have printed several to take to my commissioners to show just how dangerous this information is to national security.
