Our company was actually having such a hard time calculating how much mileage, time, and expense was being spent on our abstractors having to travel to the different counties in NY that I developed an MS Access program for all the county courthouses in NY State.  I select the counties from a drop down menu, in the order that I want them serviced, and it gives me a distance, a cost (based on our standard mileage cost), and an estimated travel time for the day.
     Now, at the begining of the day, we can look at the counties we want a particular abstractor to service, and know what their travel expense will be, and how much time they will have to perform searches during that day.
