Good to hear from you. I worked as a land surveyor for the Forest Service and advised our legal staff for land purchase and title claims. I did pretty much everything like, GPS control surveys for USGS DOQQ's, boundary location after the fire around Los Alamos, wrote reports for land purchases and responded to title claim issues regarding Land Grants and Indian Lands and am qualified as an expert in ancient boundaries. Did this for most of 30 years and foolish me, I thought that the private sector would want to tap into my brain. So far no such luck, but I keep trying. My name got around so much within the federal gov. that I use to get call from different agencies regarding survey and boundary issues. I even did all the initial title review and analysis for the purchase of the Valle Calderas National Preserve along with several wild and scenic rivers and a ton of mineral surveys. So when I am call incompetent by a realitor it sort of gets my blood pressure up. Thanks for the report from your area. Like I mentioned above, I have not given up and hope some day, before I die, to break into the private sector.
