Good question.  I am proposing that we let the client choose their abstractor.  They have the recources on Source of Title to find them, we would just add a link to allow them to place the order online and track and deliver it back to them.  Source of Title would also provide the the tools to return the work in whatever format the client requires.

We are all "independent" abstractors and should each have the option to price and further market our products.  SOT would simply market the services of ALL independent abstractors and let the client choose among them.  SOT would make it easier to place orders directly with the abstractor of their choice and provide the tools for the abstractors to incorporate technology into their product.

With the "review" system already in place, the cleints could review the services of each abstractor and those providing the best service will benefit, along with the clients.

There would still be competition among ourselves, and there should be.  Competition is a healthy thing.  But those who provide cut-throat prices at the expense of quality would suffer from poor reviews.  Good abstractors should be rewarded with positive reviews.  Ultimately this system would leave the choice upto the client and the abstractors would still benefit from customer loyalty.
