Look into your banks "Funds Available Policy". You may need to raise a ruckus with your banker if he has a lengthy funds available policy. With check21, there is no need for it. Some banks are holding out of state checks for 7 days gaining the float for themselves. They don't want to pass on the benefit of this technology to the consumer/small business owner; they make too much money on the float! We all have to raise the issue with our banks and if they do not change the funds available policy, write to your banking commissioner or consumer affairs department. The press is also an effective vehicle for change. People need to wake up, especially small business operators. Think like and entrepreneur.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
