I am "required" for my own sanity to have e&o (I do not have one company that I do title work for that doesn't require it). I have never been asked to be bonded. I am bonded as a Licensed Title Producer for Maryland. I paid about $500 for it. It is required by the Maryland Insurance Administration. I could not do one settlement without the bond or the license. I do 30-40 a month.
