David, I'm a bit unclear on this removal of access you referred to. Are you saying this information is being removed from the record entirely or only removed from the online record?
I think I've mentioned this to you before, but about twenty years ago I found a divorce on a search, and asked for the file to review the status of the property I was running. I was told the file had been sealed and was not available for review without a court order. This was a couple of years after we had gone to computerized dockets and microfiche records. I went back to the docket, which was available, and got the fiche references for the documents I needed to review, and got my information by viewing the fische. Pulling fiche card was slower than pulling the file, but I was able to complete the rush job. After I got the information about the real estate I needed, I let the deputy clerk know about this hole in their security. Now a sealed divorce shows up in the index and the docket is available, but the fiche references to certain documents are deleted. See you in Dallas, Doug
