I think what has everyone on edge is the uncertainty as to exactly how long this COVID 19 business is going to last.  Cash flow is the life-blood of any business, and even with savings, people can only go so long without an income stream to meet their immediate needs.

I've been blessed in that most of my counties are on-line, so I can still service the lion's share of my customer base.  And my side-hustle is auto parts delivery, which is considered "necessary and life-sustaining", so I've been largely unaffected, at least so far.  The ones I feel for are those who've been side-lined and have no safety net like unemployment comp to fall back on.  I have a friend whose business is procuring antique and historic vehicles for movies and television, so with everything in the entertainment industry shut down, he's effectively out of commission.

My hope is that those most in a position to do so will step up and temporarily shoulder the burden for those who are economically vulnerable during this time.
